Job Summary:

• Performs administrative and office support activities for senior level staff including the Partner and supervisors.
• Fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, filing, and faxing.
• Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills. Staff in this category also may have the title of department assistant, coordinator or associate.
• Required to undertake other duties such as banking, credit control, payroll functions and to process checks for payment for suppliers and payroll, prepare tax returns for monthly filing for the office and clients, and to reconcile the firm’s bank accounts on a weekly basis.

The candidate should possess 2+ years’ experience in the field with a minimum Associates Degree in Business/Accounting. Advanced qualifications will be an asset.

Applicants who do not have accounting experience may be considered if they can demonstrate a significant level of expertise in a relevant specialty and have a proven track record in quickly acquiring new knowledge and skills.

• Must be fluent in Spanish.
• Prior work experience in an administrative support role.
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Superior organizational and follow-through skills with attention given to the details and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as work cooperatively with all levels of management and employees and contribute as a team member.
• Prioritize, plan and organize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to operate with a sense of urgency.
